Maruyama Park Japanese Garden is a public garden with a pond and bridges in Higashiyama, Kyoto, behind Yasaka Shrine. Weeping cherry blossoms bloom in spring and the leaves turn in autumn, showing the seasonal scenery. The garden is known as a strolling-style Japanese garden made by the seventh-generation landscape gardener Ogawa Jihei. Weeping cherry blossoms and the area around the pond draw visitors taking photographs.
