Nino Torii is a stone torii gate at the entrance to Kyoto Ryozen Gokoku Shrine, where Ninenzaka meets the Road of Restoration. Passing through the gate leads to a uphill worship path that continues to a shrine honoring figures of the late shogunate and Meiji Restoration, and to the graves of Sakamoto Ryoma and Nakaoka Shintaro. The path behind Nino Torii is a gentle slope with a view over Kyoto city, and a short climb brings Yasaka's pagoda into sight. There is heavy vehicle traffic.
