Kōdaiji Temple

Kodaiji is a temple near Ninenzaka and Nene no Michi in Kyoto, where visitors see a garden and a bamboo grove together. The visit follows a route through the pond, the grounds, and the bamboo grove, and includes green tea at a small cafe that looks out over the garden. In autumn and on spring nights, a light-up adds illumination to the pond and the bamboo grove. The lighting is dim, so the main buildings are not clearly visible.
