Kiyomizu-dera Sanjunoto is a red three-story wooden pagoda at the entrance to Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto. Up close, its red color and wooden ornamentation stand out, and it looks down over the Kyoto cityscape. It was rebuilt in 1632 and repaired around 1987. Because it sits at the entrance, it is easy to pass by without a close look.
