Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda)

Hokanji is a Buddhist temple located between Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka in Kyoto. It has a five-story wooden pagoda known as Yasaka Pagoda, which is lit up after sunset. Even early in the morning the area is crowded, so anyone wanting photographs needs to arrive quickly. There is nowhere to rest around the pagoda.
