Gion Corner (Kyoto Traditional Performing Arts Center) presents Japanese traditional performing arts in the middle of the Gion district. Over 50 minutes it shows tea ceremony, koto, flower arrangement, gagaku, comic storytelling, geiko dance, and puppet theater in sequence. The ticket booth opens 30 minutes before the performance, and seats are assigned on a first-come basis. The seating area has no tiering, so the stage is hard to see from the back and a front center seat is needed.
