Kkotui Hoerang is a walking path of flowers and trees along the east bank of the Kamogawa, running between Sanjo Ohashi and Shichijo in Kyoto. It passes among cherry trees and other plantings with views of the Kamogawa, and south of Sanjo Ohashi a range of cherry varieties can be seen. The path was developed for the 1200th anniversary of the transfer of the capital to Heian, and it holds stones inscribed with submitted haiku and tanka as well as a completion monument at the south end of the east side of Sanjo Ohashi. In seasons without cherry blossoms, such as winter, it is close to a riverside walking path.
