Ninna-ji is a Buddhist temple founded in 888 and the head temple of the Omuro branch of Shingon Buddhism, located in front of the Randen Ninna-ji Station in Kyoto. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where visitors can see Omuro cherry blossoms on low trees, a five-story wooden pagoda, and the Shinden's pond garden and dry landscape garden, with sitting on the veranda to view the garden being a notable experience. Admission to the grounds is free, and viewing the Shinden and gardens takes about 60 minutes, with visitors removing their shoes and walking on the veranda inside the buildings. When some buildings such as the main hall are under construction, the viewing area is reduced.
