Arashiyama in Kyoto is a sightseeing area that combines the Katsura River, mountains, a bamboo forest, and a traditional shopping street. Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryuji, and the Chikurin bamboo forest can be seen on a single route. Buses and several train lines reach the area, but the bamboo forest requires a walk. The number of tourists is very high, which makes taking photos on the bamboo path difficult.
