Arashiyama Park Nakanoshima District is a riverside park in western Kyoto, in front of Togetsukyo Bridge. Cherry blossoms bloom from late March to early April, and visitors can rest on benches while listening to the river or use boats and rickshaws. Nakanoshima District is a sedimentary landform created where the river divides and was designated a Kyoto Prefectural Park in 1905. It is busy even on weekdays, making a leisurely stay difficult.
