The Rosetta Stone is displayed in Room 4 on the ground floor of the British Museum in London. The stone slab is carved with the inscription that became the key to deciphering ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. On weekends, the entry queue grows long around 14:00, so an earlier visit is better. The stone sits inside a glass case, and reflections on the glass make photography difficult when visitors crowd around.
