Piccadilly Circus is a historic square and intersection where the theatre district and shopping streets of London's West End meet. Large LED billboards fill the north side, and a fountain with a winged Eros statue stands at the centre. It was completed in 1819, and breakdancing and small performances take place in front of the fountain. It is always crowded with people, so it is difficult to rest there quietly.
