Royal Horse Guards is a historic site on the bank of the Thames in London where you can see mounted guards. At the nearby Horse Guards Parade, you can stand next to the mounted guards and take photos. The changing of the guard takes place every day at 11 a.m., and on Sundays at 10 a.m.; arriving 20 minutes early helps you find a spot in the rear yard. Touching the horses or crossing the white line is prohibited for visitors.
