The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London is a free museum covering maritime history and ship exhibitions. It displays the development of ships and Greenwich's connection to it, along with Admiral Nelson's bloodstained coat and ships in bottles. The exhibitions are large enough that at least an hour should be set aside for a visit, and preschoolers can use the Ahoy activity program and the outdoor Cove playground. Exhibition maps and old maps repeatedly mark the sea as the Sea of Japan.
