Kyoto Kanko Shinja is a small shrine dedicated to the safety of tourists and the development of the tourism industry, located within the grounds of Josang Shinja in Kyoto Gyoen. Its main deity is Sarutahiko Daijin, known as a god who opens paths, and the shrine was built by people in the tourism industry. It was established on November 1, 1968, and can be passed while walking the route around the former imperial palace grounds. Because of its small size, there is almost nothing to see if you seek it out based on its name.
