Konoe-tei Ato is a historic site on the former grounds of the Konoe family in Kyoto, northwest of Kyoto Gyoen and a walk from Imadegawa Station. About 60 weeping cherry trees and a pond remain, and the blossoms can be seen from mid-March. During cherry blossom season, families picnic and take photos on the open grounds, where no buildings or mountains block the background. Only the pond section of the garden is open; the inner area cannot be entered.
