Kitamura Museum is a museum specializing in tea ceremony, located within two minutes of the Kawaramachi Imadegawa intersection in Kyoto. It displays tea bowls and other tea utensils grouped into sets around themes such as bakucha and nodate. The three-story building opened in 1977, with reception on the second floor and exhibition rooms on the third. Photography of the works is not permitted. There is only one exhibition floor, and the scale is small.
