斎宮旧趾

Saigu Ato is a bamboo grove walking path in Arashiyama, Kyoto, lined with tall bamboo. A railway crossing and Nonomiya Shrine sit along the middle of the path, where the Torokko train can be seen passing by. The site is about a 15-minute walk from Arashiyama Station, and the grove takes around 30 minutes to circle at a slow pace. After 9 a.m., group tourists and tour buses arrive in numbers, making it difficult to take photos.
