Urayasu Inari Shrine sits behind the main hall of Kanda Myojin in Chiyoda City, Tokyo. It is a subordinate shrine within the Kanda Myojin grounds, dedicated to Ukanomitama no Kami, with its festival day falling on the horse day of March. The deity was originally worshipped in a fishing village at the mouth of the Hirakawa River in Edo and was moved to this location in 1843. Because it stands deep behind the main hall, it is hard to find at first.
