Kyū-Iwasaki-tei Gardens

The Former Iwasaki Residence Garden sits next to Ueno Park and contains both Western-style and Japanese-style buildings. The architecture dates from the late 19th to early 20th century and combines Western-style houses with Japanese ornamentation. Visitors take off their shoes inside and follow a set route through the interior. Photography indoors is not permitted.
