Shinobazunoike Pond

Shinobazu no Ike is a pond and temple site beside Ueno Park in Tokyo. A building stands in the middle of the water, where lotus leaves cover most of the surface, and the surrounding paths are used for walking and running. Lotus flowers bloom in spring and early summer, and a swan boat dock operates there, so the scenery changes with the season. Escaping the heat is difficult in the hot summer.
