Edo Shrine sits within the grounds of Kanda Shrine in Tokyo and enshrines Susanowo no Mikoto. A large sacred mirror is visible behind a glass door, and the shrine's name, taken from the Edo period, remains in use. It was founded in 702 on the site of the present Imperial Palace, moved to Kandadai in 1603, and relocated to its current location in 1616. The shrine is small in scale.
