Yeomin-gak is a bell pavilion across from Hwaseong Haenggung in Suwon. The pavilion, which stood at the crossroads in front of the palace during the reign of King Jeongjo, was restored in 2008 and holds a large bell. A New Year's Eve bell-ringing event is held every year on the night of December 31. The plaza in front of the palace is visible at a glance, and the site looks different by day and by night.
