Hwahongmun Gate (Buksumun)

Hwahongmun is the north water gate where the northern wall of Suwon Hwaseong meets Suwoncheon. It has an unusual structure with a pavilion built over seven arched water gates, and it can be seen together with Banghwasuryujeong. The gate tower is open, so visitors can take off their shoes and go inside, and lights on the fortress wall path come on automatically in the evening. It is close to Banghwasuryujeong, so the surrounding area is crowded with people.
