Seobukgangnu is a watch post on the northwest side of Suwon Hwaseong. It is a two-story gaknu built where the fortress wall curves on the slope up Paldalsan, and it served as a military command post in emergencies. The lower floor holds an ondol room and the upper floor has a wooden plank floor. From Hwaseomun, the area outside the wall toward Jangan-gu and Hwaseo Park comes into view, and in autumn a silver grass field spreads beyond the wall.
