Dongammun is a secret gate on the east side of Suwon Hwaseong. It sits in a deep, secluded spot and was used by people and livestock and for bringing in military supplies. It is one of the five secret gates of Hwaseong and is Historic Site No. 3. The gate stands between Dongbukporu and Dongjangdae, and its entrance faces north.
