Daeseungwon Temple

Paldalsan Daeseungwon is a small temple on the middle slope of Paldalsan in Suwon, near Hwaseong Haenggung. A golden Buddha statue visible from the Hwaseong Haenggung plaza also shines from a distance in the evening. It is reached by walking up a short way behind the Hwaseong Haenggung parking lot, and people on the way up Paldalsan stop by. Because it sits on a ridge, reaching it on foot is difficult and burdensome for the elderly and infirm.
