Buksu-dong Catholic Church

The Catholic cathedral in Buksudong, Suwon, stands on the site of the old podocheong where persecuted Catholics were interrogated, and it began as the Suwon parish in 1923. It sits close to Hwaseong Haenggung. On the first floor of the registered cultural property Suwon Old Sohwa Elementary School is an exhibition space created in March 2019 that covers the building, the area, and church history. Its proximity to Suwon Hwaseong makes it a stop on a pilgrimage route.
