Towangseong Falls Observatory

Towangseong Falls Observatory is reached from Sogongwon in Seoraksan, passing Yukdam Falls and Biryong Falls. It sits about 400 meters from Biryong Falls, up roughly 900 steps, and looks toward the distant waterfall stream. The observatory has free-to-use Mangwon lenses, and the walk from Biryong Falls takes about 20 to 40 minutes. Because of the distance to the falls, the water is hard to see with the naked eye and the sound of the falling water cannot be heard.
