Oeongchi Bada Hyangiro Trail

Oeongchi Badahyanggiro is a coastal walking path in Sokcho that runs from the end of Sokcho Beach along Oeongchi Beach, and it can be reached on foot from Lotte Resort. The route follows a wooden deck for just under 1 km, with the East Sea close by the whole way. The path was a military-controlled area until 2018 and opened 65 years after it was closed, with entry allowed until 19:30 in summer and 17:30 in winter. Stairs along the route make it inaccessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
