Sokcho Beach

Sokcho Beach stretches across Joyang-dong and Cheongho-dong in Sokcho. It has clear East Sea water, a fine white sand beach, and a pine grove that forms a windbreak. The beach opened on July 1, 1976, and is a five-minute walk from Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. High-rise buildings and a new commercial district have gone up around it, so the beachfront looks different from its past.
