Gaetbae Ferry

Gaetbae Seonchakjang is a dock in Sokcho where a small boat crosses the waterway between Abai Village and Jungang Market. The boat has no motor and is moved by pulling a metal rope by hand, and passengers can pull it too. Food alleys and grilled fish restaurants line the area, and getting off at Abai Village connects to Jungang Market. The boat ride takes about two minutes.
