Gaetbae

Gaetbae is a boat that connects Jungang-dong and Cheongho-dong in Sokcho. A boatman pulls the boat, and passengers can see the surrounding scenery from on board. Before a bridge was built to Cheongho-dong, people had to go around Cheongcho Lake from the city center toward the Joyang-dong express bus terminal. Now that the bridge to Cheongho-dong exists, taking the boat is no longer as necessary as it once was.
