COVERT COFFEE ROASTERY

Covert Coffee Roastery is a roastery in the basement of the Kinokuniya bookstore near Shinjuku Station, serving light-roast specialty drip coffee. It offers around ten beans, chosen by aroma and brewed by hand, with scones or banana bread on the side. Staff explain each bean's aroma and characteristics, and customers smell them before choosing. Every bean is a light roast with acidity, so it does not suit those who dislike acidity.
