Pyeongyangok

Pyongyangok is a chicken health-food restaurant near Seodaemun Station in Seoul that serves dakgomtang, samgyetang, and baeksuk. It simmers native chicken for a long time in a cauldron for the broth, and also offers neungi dakgomtang with neungi mushroom and shredded gamjajeon. The dakgomtang has a deep, rich broth with soft meat and no gamey smell, and kimchi and kkakdugi come with it by default. Seating is limited, so reservations are required.
