Takenaka Inari Shrine sits near the top of Yoshida Mountain in Kyoto and is a branch shrine of Yoshida Shrine. It has a worship path lined with red torii gates, small shrines and stone monuments behind the main hall, and Okunoin Taketsuru Inari Sha at the innermost point. The shrine is about 200 meters in from the nearby road, and cherry trees along one side of the path become more numerous as you approach the main hall, with autumn leaves also visible in fall. Google Maps may direct you along a narrow back path or cut off the route in a residential area, so the torii marker at the entrance should be set as the destination.
