Zenrinji is a temple in Kyoto known for autumn foliage, visited together with the walk down from Ginkakuji. Visitors take off their shoes and walk the wooden deck and corridors past a pond and several gardens. A five-minute climb up a slope leads to the tahoto pagoda, where a view over Kyoto and a rest area are located. Photography is prohibited inside, including the interior of the main hall.
