Ginkaku-ji, formally named Jisho-ji, is a Buddhist temple in Kyoto that is visited together with the Philosopher's Path. It was built in 1482 by Ashikaga Yoshimasa as a villa. A walking route passes a silver sand garden and a moss garden, and a small viewpoint is quiet. There is not much to see, so it takes about 30 minutes to look around.
