The Nomura Cultural Foundation Nomura Museum of Art is a small museum focused on tea utensils, located on the path from Nanzenji toward the Philosopher's Path in Kyoto. It displays tea bowls and tea utensils, and runs a standing tea ceremony where visitors sit on chairs to taste matcha and seasonal namagashi. There are two exhibition rooms, photography is prohibited, and the collection of the Nomura family includes tea bowls from the Korean peninsula and the Chinese mainland. The space is narrower than expected and the number of exhibits is small.
