Kyoto Girisha Rome Museum

Kyoto Girisha Roma Museum is a private house-style museum specializing in Greek and Roman art, a 12-minute walk from Kitayama Station in Kyoto. Visitors can look at the collection and then drink tea inside the building, and the fourth-floor cafe looks out on the Higashiyama mountain range. The museum sits inside a residential neighborhood, so Google Maps may direct you to the opposite side of the entrance, and you have to go south along the road to find the entrance. It occasionally closes in the morning and is sometimes shut at 16:00.
