Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art sits next to Heian Shrine and the zoo in Kyoto. The building combines a modern glass structure with classical stone architecture, and its front staircase and reflection in the water are photo spots. Visitors can enter without a ticket to see only the architecture and interior, without viewing exhibitions. Each exhibition charges a separate admission fee, which is on the expensive side.
