Choi Seungwon is a subtemple of Nanzenji, located on the mountain path east of the Nanzenji Suirokaku in Kyoto. Its small grounds hold a maintained garden and maples at the entrance, and the autumn foliage is particularly striking. Walking up from Suirokaku along the maple path brings you to a stone pillar and a mountain gate, and the inner Oku-no-in is about a 15-minute walk on foot. The grounds are small, so you can look around quickly.
