Arashiyama

Arashiyama Station is the terminus of the Hankyu Arashiyama Line in Kyoto's Nishikyo Ward. It is a small train station, distinct from the Randen and JR stations, and features decorations specific to the Hankyu line. The plaza in front of the station is large, and Togetsukyo Bridge is a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Visitors coming to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove use this station, and the surrounding area is crowded with them.
