Karasuma

Karasuma is a train station in central Kyoto that connects the Hankyu line and the Kyoto subway. Riders transfer between the Hankyu line and the Kyoto subway here to reach Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Nishiki Market. The station sits underground, its internal layout is not complicated, and the Hankyu line continues toward Osaka and Kobe. Ticket machines have no English guidance, which makes buying tickets inconvenient.
