Daeseong Banjeom, formerly Daeseongwon, is an old neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Seoul that serves ganjjajang, tangsuyuk, and jjamppong. It sits in a residential alley near Amsa Station in Cheonho-dong. The ganjjajang, its signature dish, uses a salty sauce with reduced sweetness and thinner noodles than typical Chinese restaurants, mixed together before eating. The noodles are white and thin because less additives and noodle conditioner are used, and they stay firm after boiling, while the jjamppong has few ingredients and the ganjjajang sauce is thin with few vegetables.
