Pondako Dei Tedeseuki Jeonmangdae is a free 360-degree observation deck in Venezia’s Santa Croce district, facing San Marcuola Church across the Grand Canal. The building dates from the 13th century, and the Venetian Senate assigned it for use by Turkish merchants in 1621; it now operates as a natural history museum. The observation deck requires online reservations 20 days in advance, while the museum offers guided tours and educational exhibits for children and teenagers. It closes at 4:15 p.m., making late visits difficult.
