Horeiya is a tonkatsu restaurant in Tokyo that created Japan's first hirekatsu and has a 110-year history. The hirekatsu set meal uses a thick cut of meat with a thin batter, which keeps the meat tender. You can walk in around noon without a wait and eat in the tatami room on the second floor, and the tonkatsu arrives about 15 minutes after you order. The portions of rice and tonkatsu are on the small side.
