Mantōin (Kamikodō)

Mandongwon (Jiuidang) is a Buddhist temple north of Shitennoji in Osaka's Tennoji area, near Tennoji Station. The main hall enshrines an eleven-faced Kannon statue, along with Fudo Myoo and Samantabhadra. The temple houses a paper-robed arhat statue called Jongiotsul, and wearing paper robes is held to bring merit for recovery from illness. It is also known by the name Jongiotsul Dang.
