Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts is a museum near Tennoji Park, within walking distance of the Tsutenkaku observation deck. Its permanent collection focuses on Japanese and Chinese sculpture and painting, and it also holds special exhibitions. The building opened in May 1936 in a Japanese-style Art Deco design, and it can be viewed together with the surrounding scenery.
