Hwawoldang

Hwawoldang is a bakery in Suncheon that opened in 1928 and sells only two items: bolcastella and glutinous rice cakes. The bolcastella wraps red bean paste in a thin castella, and the soft glutinous rice cakes are the other signature item. It has stayed in business for nearly a century since opening in 1928, and delivery orders are available. Without a reservation, the items are often sold out for the day.
